Cam valve events

Does anyone know what the straight up IC on a stock cam is?

How many degrees does the stock program advance and retard it?

Thanks!

Good news!

I have been searching for the answer to the IC event on the stock cam all over the web in order to find out what the stock DCR is. Why? To accurately determine how much compression drop there is from cam A to cam B over stock and how much the heads would have to be milled to get it back.

Here's the deal, since we have VVT it skews the results a little bit off but it should put you in the range.

Here is where you go first to determine the IC on a given cam using duration @ .50, LSA, and cam advance/retard.

Once you find the IC event you go here to plug it in with the rest of the numbers:

The DCR calc will work on boosted engines too.
