The Griptec pulley doesn't come with instructions. Just a little note to use blue loctite

But to answer your questions.
Yes - it slides off.
I did not need a pulley puller. but its possible you may need one.

That being said...once you upgrade to the Griptec pulley/hub system, pulley changes are a breeze. You'll never have to deal with the shaft bolt again.

In a nutshell...
1. Break the pulley shaft bolt loose. (easier to do if belt is tight)
2. loosen the procharger belt tensioner.
3. remove the belt off the pulley
4. continue to remove the pulley shaft bolt.
5. The procharger pulley shaft is keyed. After the bolt is removed, look at the shaft and position the key so it's facing up. BE SURE NOT TO LOSE THE KEY.
6. Slide the pulley off. once off...install the Griptec hub onto the procharger shaft. Then install the pulley onto the hub.
