I’d be up for a ride into NH too, my daughter lives in Peterborough!

"The trail" is ok if you hit it at the right time of year and get good views of Williamstown from hairpin turn. The roads -off- of the trail make for better overall viewing, though, and even some nicer cruising. RT116 from Cheshire to Ashfield is a really nice ride.

Mt Washington is great if you aren't driving. Otherwise, you get to see nothing except your white knuckles. lol

Will keep an eye on this thread. If a good cruise comes up, I will try to make it, always ready to burn up some pavement, LOL

Agreed. I just set a subscription up on this thread so hopefully I’ll see any updates.

Just saw this thread and thanks for all the suggestions.

There's nothing like driving with the top down on NH RT93 thru Franconia Notch, the Kanc or 302 through Crawford Notch in the Fall. I'll have to check out some of the western MA routes posted here seeing I'm in central MA.

Unfortunately, we are running out of year before the long winters nap!

Take Rt 2 W to 8 S to 116N to 112N back to Rt 2. That's a nice loop with some twisty roads and could make for great leaf peeping once the weather turns.

That should be a great trip. Rt 2 W is a nice cruise by itself, so adding some great twisty back roads should be awesome.

I might consider something like that myself in a couple of weeks if the weather holds... Might be worth trying to line something up for a group drive?

Maybe meet in Greenfield or something like that... Plenty of other routes.

Take 9 out of NoHo, 8A North to 116 North, to 112 North (or just take 9N to 112N in Goshen), 2 East, 91 South... That's another loop that could be a nice drive (although you have to take it pretty easy through Goshen).

Sounds good to me. Post it up when we get a little closer and hopefully a few of us can make a Camaro convoy.

Took a ride today... 91N out of CT to the NoHo area, then 9N to 112 to 116. Coming back was Rt 8/7 to 90 to 91S.

There is some nice foliage, but it looks like it might pass quickly. Maybe this coming weekend as an initial attempt with the following weekend as a secondary in case of bad weather?

Next Saturday I’m taking the Camaro to the Larz Andersen Auto Museum fall cruise/wine tasting. The Camaro can show the wine & cheese crowd what power is. Lol. Not sure if Sunday is a possibility for a W Mass cruise.

Also hoping to get a Test & Tune day in at Lebanon Valley Dragway before it’s done for the season.
