Not to resurrect this thread yet again, but 2 issues in trying a taillight housing removal - retainer on the trunk liner impossible to remove. Using the proper panel remove tools - was so tight the bracket behind the panel bent trying to remove it and screwed up the liner a bit in the process. Ok - so all 3 nuts removed on the rear of the housing - tugged and tugged - car is rocking - no way on god's green earth that thing is coming out. Tried the tap on the studs option - no way. What model year is your car? Easy taillight removal without popping the rear bumper is only possible on pre-refresh (2016-2018) cars due to an extra bolt or two behind it on 2019+ builds, and your sig is a bit confusing as it says you're waiting for your 2022.
