You know I was thinking the same thing about Mike Jr car. I didn't know if it was tune or DA but I remember him running a lot more boost with a 2650 and running similar times.
I know you remember the time it took me to go from 10.80s to 10.30s. It took a while and some extra parts like the orginal Big Bore pump and injectors, meth and water, drag packs, etc. But in one hit with this car we went right to 10.30s with a bone stock motor, itty bitty 2300, E85 and Port Injection. To me that's more incredible then anything I did with the old car. It will never get modified to run low to mid 9s like old Laynlo but we'll make the best of what we have and I think we can see low 10s. We haven't tapped all the safe power yet but we won't over power it either. Slow and steady and keeping it a fast street car that kinda looks like a sleepy, swoopy white Lt1. Gonna keep it that way also.

Remember when you first got this car and you said you wouldn’t supercharge it? Joshinator99 remembers.

Another smart ass with a good memory. I just can't get my ass out of trouble on here.
I might have said something like that on here and to my wife of 49 years. She knew I was full of it, evidently you know it also along with many others. Oh well I tried but the deals were too good to pass up.

You read it right, bone stock Lt1, stock exhaust, A10 has not been unlocked but will this winter. We ran 10.00@139 on my 2016 Lt1 with stock A8, stock exhaust, that trans did not have to be unlocked, we did up the shift pressure so it can be done. We did hurt that motor with too much boost and not enough crankcase ventilation.

It will stay on stock exhaust. I ran my 16 SS down to 10.00@139 with 2300 on stock exhaust. No reason to change it.

Nope, not in my opinion. Remember the more weight in the rear the better it will hook up. Save the money for better mods that you'll actually see gains on

Does anyone know reliably (not just a guess) what percent of the car's total weight is transferred to the rear wheels on a dragrace launch?

I ask because in the video at the start of this thread, the front end of the car seems to come up quite a bit.

My cars always seem to transfer weight well. Not sure why except I lower them and maybe the spring rate is different but they launch pretty dam good. Check out my other thread and you can see it from the front and rear.
