Yes it will go in the factory spot,but I had to add foam to fill the gaps around the battery because the battery is smaller.

You could buy another and wire it in parallel. Still less weight than your original while keeping the same voltage. It will have double the capacity of just one of those batteries.

From what I read it's better if you daily drive it as long as you don't have a aftermarket audio system.I believe the stock around 45 lbs and the Braille is 21 lbs.
