Tire size question
Hey fellas, I'm running 20x9 front and 20x10 rear zl1 replicas on my 2010 2SS. I have researched on here and seen a lot of good info, but not really gotten the straight forward answer. I am currently running stock sizes 245/45 front and 275/40 rear.
If I want to beef it up a bit without messing up the speedometer or anything else... what size would fit and accomplish this? Best I could find so far is 275/40 front and 315/35 rear... is this correct? Would it fit/work? Also saw some say 305/35 rear... pretty confused, because I don't want to have fitment or speedometer issues. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! -Ryan

275/40 matches to 315/35 and 285/35 better matches to 305/35. The goal is to keep the diameter of the all the tires as close as possible.

I have 9 and 10 inch rims. I found the perfect fit to be 275 and 305.
315 is too big for a 10 inch rim. The side walls will buldge too much.

So someone showed me this calculator!
https://tiresize.com/comparison/ Now I understand better about matching the sizes on staggered setup...315/35 matches the 275/40 exactly! Now the only question is will the 315/35 fit on the 20x10 Thanks guys!

Compared to a 275/40X20:
245/45 is exactly the same diameter. 315/35 is exactly the same diameter. The 305/35 is 1% smaller. A 265/40 is the same size as the 305/35. 285/35 is 3% smaller. That said, there is some leeway in the manufacturers build vs. mathematics. TireRack has charts that display the exact diameters and rotations/mile for various brands.
