Has anyone ever successfully added a stock PDR?

Hey guys/girls! Trying to find out if anyone has ever successfully added a stock PDR to a non-PDR car? I'm sure there has been discussion about this but I've yet to see anyone that was successful at doing it. If you've done this, please let me know, super interested in doing it! Thanks!

Probably be easier just to use Harry’s Laptimer Pro & your phone. You can add a Bluetooth obd2 dongle & get RPM, gear, & throttle / brake application all overlaid onto your video as well

"Easier to just use Harry's Laptimer Pro......" After reading thru the linked thread, I'd say this qualifies as the understatement of the year lol!

Torque app seems promising as it integrates with your OBD2 connector to feed in real time information on what/how your car is performing and overlay it with video. It would definitely save you a lot of time and money, but I doubt anything will integrate as well as the PDR.

I had the PDR in my C7 and I thought it was cool, but just did not use it very much outside of the track. So few cars (SS1LE) when I was searching have it. I found one car in another state that had it stock but it was the wrong color car for me.

This is probably one of the better options I have seen.
