I guess it's the car guy in me, but didn't they put your car awfully close to that Corolla?

I would just ask them if they can install some "death spikes" Mad Max style. My guess is that no one will drive near you... |

Regarding Diminished Value, Lets say that the KBB value of the vehicle with the inflated market is approximately $30k .. .. but under the ordinary market is about $25k .. .. Should I determine the difference using the inflated market or the ordinary market?

Finally got her back. She also has a new battery. She was misfiring when I got her for about 10 minutes during idle. It seems to have smoothened out but I have an SES on. Hopefully it goes out on its own. Here she is…

Looks good. Did you make a diminished value claim? Should be worth a couple grand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Their insurance company at first told me that the car had to be 3 years old or newer and I told them I didn’t see that anywhere in the state law. Then they told me I would need to fill out a form and send it back to them for an estimate so I did that but haven’t heard back from them and it’s been about 2 weeks. Hopefully they’re not screwing me. I’m thinking of going through my own insurance for diminished value.

I got rear ended again in the SS. I was sitting at the stop light and the pickup behind me saw the left turn signal turn green while our light was still red. He nailed the gas and smashed into my rear bumper. On the same street and same intersection as before too. It’s nowhere near as bad as before but they messed up my new paint. The guy even wanted me to let him go because it didn’t do much damage and he didn’t have a valid drivers license. Know what the cops said? ‘That’s okay!’ Fortunately he did have insurance but it’s some off the wall agency. They won’t even let you email their claims agent. They want you to send in 6 pictures through an app so they can virtually appraise it… wtf…
Im going to send them my reciepts for my ceramic coating and fairly recent body work to show them it was just repainted and ceramic coated but I’m probably going to have through my own insurance. I have a bad feeling these people are going to give me a hard time. |

I’d avoid that intersection in the future.

First, Jesus man, I feel awful for you.
Second, make your own insurance company "deal with them". That's their job.

On a related note, though, how the hell is this not equal to instant detention? How can that be "okay"? I'd already jail people driving without valid (at least state mandated minimum) insurance, let alone those knowingly driving without a license, these aren't honest mistakes.
