I'm having lobsters delivered and I know I don't have room on my stove to cook 10 of these babies and I was considering getting a Turkey Fryer and using it as a cooker/steamer.

Thank God it's Hump Day!!! I can't wait for the week to end....

Even though the car things went smoothly yesterday, it was still a crappy day!!! One of my techs has been sick for about a week and a half. Her coughing was so bad yesterday morning that I insisted she go to the urgent care across the street during lunch. Well, they didn't let her come back to work, and won't for at least a couple of days, because she has a suspected case of pertussis - that's whooping cough for you non-medical old farts. So not only have I and my staff and my patients been exposed to a highly contagious bug (that is at epidemic levels in WA right now), but I also have to run short staffed!! During a week when the full moon is coming!

Please, Friday, come fast...

Oh - can't forget the happy part - Ladybug gets to come home tonight

All that crappy part stinks! Get busy with the echinacea. I dread that full moon too, the moon phase we have been in (or whatever cosmic mess has been going on) already has things bad enough. I hate to think what a full moon is going to do.

BUT, really glad Ladybug is coming home. Any welcome home plans?

Too much has transpired since my last visit for me to comment on everything. But I'll say a few things quickly. Power was out at my house when I got home from work Monday. Didn't come back on till bedtime. Somebody hit a buried cable with a backhoe. Oops!

Classes have started now. My novel writing class is gonna be fun but the instructor is going to throw a lot of stuff at us very quickly in order to get it all in. My Business Law class - maybe not so much fun. The book weighs a ton and came in at a mere $120.

Thanks Ruby - but it's true. A fellow in Washington State was on the freeway in a bigfoot costume and was hit by two cars and died from his injuries.
