Katech KAT-A7763 Drop-in Dual Fuel Pump Module
Our phase one of our fuel pump is now released for anyone interested. We have 4 of these available right now which can be found in the link below (ignore the backorder).
https://katechengines.com/i-30498248...mp-module.html This fuel pump has the full low level fuel performance of a factory Gen 6 ZL1 fuel pump module with all of the factory connection points. It features twin OEM grade high output fuel pumps that supply near double the amount of fuel as the factory. Currently, this product is meant for the DIY'er, it has the studs to trigger the secondary pump on the top of the module hat. You can use any secondary fuel pump trigger just as you would with an aux pump. We will be releasing a plug-and-play harness that will allow you to control both pumps with commanded fuel pressure via the factory ECU. Also, we will be releasing an inline post-pump filter kit that is serviceable external to the tank. |

DANG IT!!! I was 6-months too early, lol...
Would it be possible to run this set-up with the factory tune? Let's say I wanted to put this on a STOCK ZL1, with the intent on upgrading in the future. Could I run this with the OEM tune, until I need to bring the second pump on-line? It's a smog-thing (CARB)...

Hey Mike, output looks to be a LOT less than a Fore Double (and Triple, obviously) that typically run Ti Auto 274/285 pump combos. Can you substitute bigger pumps into your setup like Fore does or are you using smaller pumps to make them fit your bucket?
You should really redo the power levels based on forced induction and E85, since I don’t think you’ll see too many cars on the board making 1200 HP naturally aspirated…

This was done on a mockup flow bench at a 3rd party, but as you can see, the data is different than the OEM level testing. However, it was good for A-B-C testing. If you want near double the amount of fuel from the factory, our solution is the most simple. |

It is hard to calculate from dyno variances between shops, areas, etc. Going by our comparison to the LT5 fuel system, I would take whatever horsepower number you have made on a factory LT4 low-side, and multiply that by ~1.75. I would imagine that would be a close ballpark.

Awesome stuff! Will this work with a convertible as well? I haven't gotten to deep into it yet but I came across some posts that were some differences between the convertible fuel pumps vs the coups.
