For one, what are they valuing your car at? I’d get some offers from different dealers including the likes of Driveway, Vroom, and Carvana.
Second, Not a damn thing wrong with the LT 1LE in daily use. It’s the non-MRC suspension and front brakes off the SS, with forged 9.5x20/8.5x20 wheels and the F1’s. Anyone who drives an SS daily can tell you how it would ride. I’d actually love one of these for a daily myself, but I have other priorities at the moment.

I'm trying to understand what the purpose of the trade would be. Don't want the spoilers, don't want the brakes, feels the extra coolers are just more risk for maint/repair needs.... So, why trade? |

You will get a ton of different opinions. Ultimately you have to do what is right for you Pro's on this, same year car, both a M6. Yours has 35k miles, the other has 8k. Your 3yr/36k warranty is almost up. Depending on what month the 1LE was purchased you still have some time left on the warranty. I have no idea what an extended warranty costs now, but I will go high and say $3000
You can no longer get the 1LE package without getting a SS trim Camaro. I do not know what the package cost on a 4 or 6 cylinder model, but on a SS it is a a $7000 option. So with the warranty and 1LE package there is your $10k difference give or take on the actual "Extended warranty and 1LE" prices. Also take into account does the 1LE your considering have more or less options. Do you like the color better than your current one. Is the $10k in your budget for a estimated $200 a month for 60 months (comes in at $167, just rounded up with interest or unless you want to just pay it up front). Just things to consider and best of luck your choice either way. |

Understood... I would imagine that you still ultimately weighed the delta between selling to Vroom and buying the other outright (including all taxes instead of tax on the difference).

I put 16 lb. Koesi wheels on a 14 Mazda 3. The car drove great. My factory 20" weight about 30lbs. I would like a light wheel if I can find one with the right specs. I would even go smaller dia.

Not seeing an apples to apples comparison in the original post .
(what was the trade in price on yours vs the asking price on the other one) More car for sure Last edited by LStick; 08-06-2022 at 12:02 PM. Reason: update |

With that said, comparing the trade valuation against the market helps one understand if they're being fair at that level. Comparing the selling price against a no-trade deal helps one understand if they're being fair at that level. Then, ultimately, it helps one understand if the "plus how much" is fair. |
