That opens up the Bridgestone Potenza S007A as an alternative to the OEM Goodyears, but I'm not sure if I'll gain much there. I have 10k miles and I MIGHT have 1000 or so left in these GY's. No burn outs, no track time either.

I tried checking with Michelin support regarding AS 4 tire in 305/30/20. support confirmed that it’s only available in ZP run flat in this size and 285/30/20 in only in non run flat. even though their website doesn’t not say anything about ZP. Tire rack on the other hand does list 305 in ZP only. I was hoping Michelin’s site was correct but no luck. Anyone running 245 or 255/35/20 up front and 305/30/20 rear combo? Looks like new C8 is running this setup and some Mercedes AMG GTs have same combo. Probably not bad setup for street use as it will make steering little quicker.

Thanks for checking this. I called Michelin this morning but gave up after around 10 minutes on ignore...

Looks like it's gonna be 'Stones again. Hopefully Michelin will get a clue and release a 305 non ZP.

Opened a case with Michelin support about misinformation on website regarding 305/30/20 AS4 tire. case number 01918989
Let’s see if they really have a tire that we need. or fix website discrepancy.

Would running a ZP runflat rear 305 and a regular non-ZP 285 front be an option? The tread compound is the same?

In my experience, run flats ride like crap because of the very stiff sidewalls, so you probably wouldn't like the ride, especially with the difference front to rear.

Most 'Vettes come with runflats, and switching the tires out is a pretty common first mod.

I think the C8 runs a 19" up front.

I was looking to mount 255/35/20 Bridgestone RE980 AS up front and 305/30/20 rears on stock 1LE wheels. I think 255 width tires up front should provide good enough traction on the street and should handle ok for "normal" driving situations. C8 corvette and Mercedes Gt AMG has similar width tires ( C8 has 19s up front but tire width is about same ) up front and both seem to perform fine on the track tests. anyone already running this setup ?

C8 has way less weight on the front wheels. The 295 width RE980 works fine up front.

good point - I thought about front end weight but this reinforces it.
Thanks
