How to use 5th Gen cargo net on 6th Gen

I kept my cargo net from my 2013 SS when I traded it in, expecting it would fit my new 2016 SS.
In fact, of course, the 6th Gen cargo net is totally different, much smaller, and $50.
So I figured out a way to still use my old cargo net.
First buy four cargo net nuts, GM part number 11561145. I found them on eBay, four for $19 shipped.

You will also need two bolts, say one inch long or so that fit the screw thread on the cargo nuts. I had some lying around, but home depot will have them.
Then remove the four existing nuts from the rear trunk liner and pull it out. Remove the pushpin from the side trunk liner and pull it to one side to reveal the supporting bracket. Install a bolt through the bracket. I superglued it, but you could put a nut on it.

Put the liner back in place and screw the cargo nut onto the bolt. You might want to use shorter bolts than i did so they don't show!

Repeat on the other side.
Then reinstall the rear trunk liner with the original nuts at the bottom but use the two remaining cargo nuts for the top.
Fit the 5th gen cargo net as shown below.

The bottom is not secured to anything, but it seems to work fine.
