How to get launch control to hold RPM's-M6

Hello,
I searched on the net and on here but no real info.
I do get the launch control to enable on my 2023 M6 but RPM's don't hold.
What's the trick? I do have my seat belt on and in 1st gear.

I read that older vehicles used to say "Press Brakes" or something like that. The newer ones don't sayanything. I've tried several times and the RPM's just don't hold. Is there a trick with the accelerator?

Are you going into PTM Sport 1/2, or race before going through the launch control menu?

Here is a tutorial on how to do it:

I'm doing launch control menu first, then, double tapping the traction control button, then going into PTM Race. Hmmm, is that why?

Although, i believe I tried launch control menu last a few times and still.

Thanks, let me watch that vid, thanks again.

I know that the wheel has to be straight and thethrottle has to be decked quick. Dont *****foot around and roll into it. Straight to the floor.

Hmm, perhaps the throttle is the problem. That's the only thing I'm not sure I've done. Wheel is def straight.

Now, does the Launch control menu have to stay showing ? I have left it showing anyway but curious now. Or once you set your RPM and target, can you show a diff menu like the oil gauge as an example?

I got it to work. I was being a p*ssy with the throttle.
Gotta smash it down.
Learned a few things as a new owner. Launch control and line lock don't work in Sport Mode, only Track mode. Also, don't have to have your seat belt on. Thought I read somewhere on the net that you do.
