Intake valve, combustion cleaner
Has anyone tried this product? I just passed 30K miles and think it is likely that my car would benefit from this but I don’t know if this actually works or is just a modern day version of snake oil
TIA for any feedback from users of this product https://www.berrymanproducts.com/pro...stion-cleaner/ |

How are you guys using the SeaFoam? We have DI engines. Fuel (and therefore seafoam) never touches the backside of the valves.
I use it in all my non-DI cars.

Seafoam also has something like that. See it in action here: Now whether or not we need that, I can't say. Usually German DI engines tend to have trouble after a while(and you need the walnut shell blasting) while a lot of Japanese DI engines seem to do fine.

fwiw i pulled my stock intake manifold again @ 20k miles. there was nothing collecting on the valve itself but the stem had a little gunk on it. i wouldn't be overly concerned with buildup unless you drive miss daisy everywhere. my car sees it's fair share of high rpm.
