Yea, after needing a kidney belt on Michigan roads in my 2012, I stepped up to a car with MRC. Night and day difference.

Buy 18 inch wheels with taller sidewalls.

Ditch the runflats with their concrete sidewalls and buy some decent non-runflat tires, plus a slime kit or something similar for emergencies. You'll thank us later.

My 2LT with 18" wheels has a more comfortable ride than my previous car (Mazda 3), but even then it gets a bit crashy if the tires are over-pressure. Definitely check that, my dealership often overfills them.

Just one personal and subjective comment, while those 18 inchers will indeed improve ride quality, with their 50% sidewall tires they'll look quite a bit truckish.

I had those on my previous 2LT and never managed to like them. Darker aftermarket wheels might help a bit... but if I were you, I'd still just install some non-runflats on the 20" wheels and see if that's enough of a ride and noise improvement.
