2013 Bolt-ons to 2016?

I still haven't yet decided if I'm going for a 6th Gen, but I was curious as to any of my 5Th Gen bolt-ons that may fit the 6th Gen. Primary ones I'm considering are the CAI Inc. intake and the CNC Ported Throttle Body.

I know the 6th Gen hood has been reshaped in certain ways, but is the area where the CAI filter box mounts the same? And if so, would the tube to the throttle body be the same size (length, diameter, overall configuration)?

Regarding the 6th Gen throttle body: will it be the same as on my L99 engine, or a completely new design for the LT1?

Thanks. Just curious, mostly.

Only two parts carry over from the fifth-generation Camaro to the new Gen Six: the rear bowtie emblem and the SS badge.

I wouldn't plan to use them on a 2016.

Well, you may be able to find a LT1 Corvette and get some measurements for the throttle body bolt pattern, but at this time, we just don't know. I can say that it does look like the angle of the throttle body on the LT1 is a bit more raked than on the LS3/99 so the CAI might require some modifications, at the least, and may not fit at all, at the most.

You know, I wonder how true this is or if its just marketing speak. For all visual purposes, yeah, it seems that the two cars share no parts. But looking at the pictures, some things are strikingly similar, if not the same - like the windshield washer controls. Or the blinker lever - different control labels, but the same mechanisms, and size and shape as on the 5th gen.

According to the parts book, the throttle body is the same as the Corvette LT1/LT4. The number is 12620263. Hopefully the parts book is correct.

This is not the same as the Gen 5 as a FYI. The throttle body is all new.
