BTW, since the OEm TB will support 750-800 hp, a 103mm is not needed.

I would go with CAI, headers, 10% lower, and cam. Just as a reference number, mine made 723 wheel with OEM TB and SC (untouched)

I like those numbers. Means mine should make at least that much if not more if they can tune it properly.

Out of curiousity...how long did that build take for you?

Is this still where you are?

Texas Speed 2' Long Tubes With X Pipe
Texas Speed Cam Kit
Roto Fab Big Gulp CAI
2.5' Pulley (to get stock levels of boost back here at altitude)
103MM Nick Williams Throttle Body
Tune

Does your cam kit include everything from cam thru valves, and p/p heads?

If yes, it probably will not make 725 unless you go a 10% lower. I believe the OEM upper is 2.5".

HPE did mine in a week.

HPE did mine in a week.

So mine is 2.3 pulley & now the supercharger is being ported. The heads were machined and the kit came with all springs and such.

Damn...one week...I'm pretty disappointed at how long this is taking.

Ah, you've changed it since your first post. It'll be fun regardless of what it makes.

yeah the pulley they ordered was the 2.3

the porting of the supercharger was just decided because they said the 103MM throttle body was "choking" on air. Idk if I buy that...but that's what they said. They said porting the blower would get everything to work properly.

They decided on the machine work for the heads and stuff too...that wasn't explained to me at first either...but they said that's how they do their cam builds so I just had to accept it.

As long as the car is built properly and runs like a champ, I won't care. I'm just really annoyed that it's turned into basically a month without the car.

Looks like UPP does mostly import turbos, not domestic superchargers. Their reviews suggest they are competent at welding, but not tuning.

I'd give them a fair chance to get things right. If they fail and won't or can't address the failures, then cut bait.

yeah I did notice that. I did ask the guy if they could do what I wanted done since I didn't want to go turbo route...he said they could. I'm just anxious now.

If the car doesn't run right when I get it back I have a backup tuner on standby in denver.

I wouldn't worry about tuning because you know there's good LT4 tuners in Denver. Unless you know they have LT4 experience, I would worry about the wrench work. LT4 valve train work has its inevitable nuisances learned the hard way.
