Or you can just buy an SS, intake and tune it and no problem. By the time this is optioned out, you are close to $60k. That's Zl1 territory in which there will be competition.

Where are you getting $60K? $45k and Dodge dealers will be discounting this car it will be a $40-$41k otd everywhere.

Yes it is. I am sure I am not the only one that thinks its pretty kick ass what Dodge is doing for their customers with all these different packages and pushing the power envelope for the new muscle car wars. I will give credit where credit is due......

It's not going to be $60k optioned out and optioned out isn't the point of the car. The point is fewer options and weight for drag racing. Anyone that wants a fully optioned Scat Pack won't buy this one, they'll buy a widebody, which still won't be $60k loaded.

Exactly. Props to them for doing this. I don't think many folks will buy it but at least they're offering it. That's one of the things that Dodge has done well with the Challenger. They pretty much offer that car for almost every type of buyer.

$45k for a brick that is only .2 seconds quicker than a bone stock A8 Camaro? I'd rather have the Camaro that can handle the twisties as well.

The best thing I've heard was that the Dodge has torque for days, which is a good thing because that's how long it takes to go around a corner.

I’d line ‘em up a lot differently and with some caveats.

2016 - 18

Base Trims:

Mustang
Camaro
Challenger

SS / GT / Scat Pack:

Camaro SS
Mustang GT
Challenger Scat Pack (although I’ve seen some gorgeous Scat Packs)

Top Dawgs:

Mustang GT350
Camaro ZL1
Challenger Demon
Camaro ZL1 1LE

Verts:

Camaro (all trims)
Mustang GT350
Mustang base

For 2019 I would say base Camaros look a little better than base Mustangs, GT looks a little better than Camaro SS, otherwise listing is the same.
