I bought the brake package option J55 calipers which are for the SS.

caliper part numbers are 84089045 & 84089044 (right front & left front)

Am leaning towards the SS ROTORS but would love a definitive answer on the differences

Surely someone has done this swap before?

Get the rotors that match the calipers, SS calipers - SS rotors. That way you know they are made for each other, as long as the calipers are for gen 6, everything on the car will match up, but the hoses.
Did those calipers come with mounting bolts?

When i did the swap to the front ss calipers and rotors. The bolts should be the same.

The ss comes with 13.6 inch rotors. Didnt come with the slots as the upgrade kit does.

As stated, the only difference between ss and lt rotors are 1 inch in diameter. If youre going to 4 piston calipers from the ss, use the ss rotors. Dont over complicate it.

Main reason i asked, when i got my SS front calipers, they came with the mounting bolts, because the previous owners new larger kit had it's own bolts. I noticed the Heads of those bolts that came with it are not like the ones on the LT, but i have not removed the LT ones yet, so wasn't sure if something else on the bolt shaft or length was different.

No, no mounting bolts

Any chance you have a part number for the bolts?

I don't know, but here is a pic for comparison.

The Black one from the LT stock was a 21mm head
The Silver one from the SS Calipers is 18mm head and longer.
Think the SS is longer, because the caliper is Aluminum with longer threads slot, where the Stock LT caliper mounting bracket is metal.

I'm looking for help on swapping my ZL1 brakes to the SS 4 piston brakes, I'm trying to fit 18x8 or 17x5 Welds. So far I've found these GM part #23245470. I'm wondering if they'll match up on the ZL1. Any help is appreciated.
