Hud - color?

Just traded my 2016 RS for a 2023 SS. On The 2016, the hud had color - the channel # was yellow, the sirius xm logo was blue. And on the DIC the sirius xm logo was blue. DIC also had an icon showing what the speed limit is.

Did all these features get changed from the HUD & DIC?

Mine HUD is all white. Unless I'm wearing sunglasses, then it's all green.

You gotta be kidding me... did GM nerf the HUD, too? It is supposed to be a full color projection display, at least that's what it is on mine.

The 2023 Camaro photo gallery on the Chevrolet web site shows a color HUD.

The only "HUD" (Heads-Up Display) is the one that projects on the windshield (hence keeping your head up and eyes outside), the other display (between the Tach and the Speedometer) is the "Driver Information Center"

For the windshield HUD, polarized sunglasses screw up the colors - non-polarized sunglasses are fine.

How to tell polarized or not? Look thru the lenses at a reflective surface and rotate the lenses 90 degrees back and forth - if polarized, you’ll see the glare leave and come back - if not polarized, it looks the same regardless of the angle.

For the windshield HUD, mine is all white except when one of the tach strips shows - that strip is a light blue. In the DIC, the sirius xm icon is all white (it was blue on my 2016).

You can change the hud modes. Some of them may not have as much color but like others have stated there are a few colors involved.

Mine has several colors. I can remember blue green and red without looking.

The tach strip does, but everything else is white. Chevy website says its all supposed to be color

Then they just redesigned the other HUD views, dropping colors, and the website wasn't updated to reflect.
