I might consider a 35 series tire up front next time to fill in that wheel gap.

Did some work to the front brakes last night to try and ready the car for an SCCA event at PittRace this thursday. Been having a strong vibration under heavy braking at the track and thought a change to a track pad might fix it up. Been talking with a friend of the camaro6 forum that raced this track with his car and going to make some upgrades to see if I can make these calipers work. These new pads are Hawk DTC 60's and the rears are EBC yellow stuff pads. (Can't seem to find the hawk pads for the rears) Had another new set of SS rotors from the last Camaro on the shelf that were the same 13.6" diameter so the front brakes will be all new. Wanna try to do the Blackwing cooling duct mod in the near future as well as some DOT4 fluid.

Old worn uneven pad. These have 2 track events and 16k on them.

I had a Sebring Orange Z06 and modded everything that was red to orange or black. Red against orange just never looked right.

- Paddle shifters
- Dash plaque
- Steering wheel emblem
- Sill plates
- Front, rear and side emblems
- Center caps
- Side and rear red reflectors

Nice car! Did you end up doing any work to the brakes for track operations?

So I think I found a brake pad combo that works well with the LT1 brake setup. The Hawk dtc60's up front with a set of Dynamic Friction rear pads have yet to give me any problems other than some squealing during normal daily driving. I did have EBC yellow stuff pads in the back but they got chewed up within 2 track events and the brake dust was the worst of any pads I've tried. I got some track pics I've been meaning to share from last september at Pittrace with autointerests and the SCCA track night from this spring.

Just installed the BMR 3/4" front lowering springs to try and narrow that front wheel gap. Was worried the front gap would be too small but mirrors the rear wheel well gap with the 315's. Took me about 2 hours once I bought a 24mm socket. Honestly I don't feel any difference from stock but have another track day 7/19 I'm anxious to test it out on.

Old vs new springs. New springs are slightly shorter than stock and don't require the spring compressor to install.

New wheel gap.
