Thanks to your pictures I tend to say that bumpers paint mismatch is normal? I just noticed mine:

Paint does tend to look slightly different on different types of surfaces. But different angles and lighting also affect how paint looks on a vehicle. For example a flat surface that faces up is going to look different than a surface that is more angled or that is on the side of a vehicle depending on the angle of the sun or other lighting factors. Not to say that there can also be variations of the same color.

Some colors have a more dramatic difference than others, first one I saw in a dealer parking lot I was like "Oh, they repainted this bumper..." Then I saw the rest... It is common going from metal parts to plastic parts (might partly be due to the flex additive or that they are painted at a different location).

I know, but this seems excessive. Not exclusive to my car, so I am "fine"... Not gonna run back and ask them to fix it.

I’ve noticed it too on a few cars unfortunately. It looks like the bumper and the rest of the car were sprayed with two different mixes of the same paint.

For some reason it seems to stick out more on the Riverside blue cars. Or maybe it's just because I'm looking for it..

Or different primer - different material could call for something which alters the base coat color... I think they should be able to mitigate that somehow...

The reason bumpers can be different colors on these cars is because they are not painted at the same time as the body. They are generally painted by the supplier of the bumper and then delivered to the assembly plant already painted. So, they're not even painted at the same location.

Very weird! When you have body work done and they have to respray they are required to blend a certain number of inches into the nearest panel(s). Crazy that they can get away with that on a new car!

That looks great! I like the contrast against the blue.
