Yes, mine has gotten louder - 3 people have said so. That said, it is not getting "louder" to the extent of "louder like adding a new exhaust"

I personally like it. It is not obnoxious like the mustang, say what you want it is "no faster" just obnoxious all the time. I like how the 808HP Hellcat is kind of moot until you want it to be obnoxious, just like the ZL!.

MOOT, then screaming when WOT.

I like the stealth of the ZL1 - still just as fast as the competition but will be loud when you want it to be

The exhaust is loud when you hear from outside, had my friend drove it and heard it standing outside , looks like its insulated inside

I have a 2018 with just under 10k miles. Purchased new. Though not loud , I fell like it is getting louder. I get the feeling they are breaking in. Though I’m getting older , so I could be wrong …

I wouldn't say louder, but I would say the character of the sound changes. When brand new there's a lot of tinny harshness in the sound, almost like it's ringing a bit in places. But this mellows in a thousand miles or so as the pipes anneal and get a little carbon soot buildup inside and the ringing dampens down.

Agreed,my car has changed over time. I’d say it’s the exhaust causing this as well as the engine too. I can’t imagine the engine getting hours of use on it not having an effect of tone and/or “loudness” of the exhaust.

I’m not sure if it’s gotten louder but I’m hearing the pops more frequently. I was gonna switch to a Corsa but I’m really happy with this exhaust. I’ve also read that the suitcase exhaust might have some benefits on the track for the airflow but I haven’t been able to confirm this yet.

Speed engineering manifold connection X pipe is what you're looking for. I managed to make it fit to a Corsa axleback, but it is made for stock NPP.

I cant believe why the ZL1 stock exhaust is so quiet . Coming from a vette , the stock exhaust is louder and deeper in a vette
When I bought my '16 Camaro SS the first thing I noticed was that the stock NPP exhaust sounded louder than the NPP exhaust on my previous C7 Stingray Z51.
