Running the NMCA race this weekend in St Louis
We are rolling out this weekend for some fun racing in the NMCA at WWTraceway. Entered in Street King which is a 1/4 second Index class from 11.00 seconds down to 8.00, we'll be running pro tree which I'm pretty good at. I'll be running the 10.00 index since I haven't been able to break into that 9.75 index. Temps are going to be higher also and my only weight savings with be the drag pack which is about 100 lbs. I should be able to run that on the 98mm pulley since I ran 9.89 on it a few weeks back, the only difference will be the temps and DA. If I can't I'll run the smaller pulley or pull the front seat out if needed. I can run the same tune on either pulley since there is only 1.5 psi of boost difference. Will update after the first or second pass. I've had really good luck in the NMCA running index classes. In 2020 won $1000 buck in my C7 winning the 12.00 index, stock except for the Nitto 555 r2s. In 2021 I was runner up in Rumble on the 11.00 second index class and won $250.00. Last year I ran the Camaro in the 12.00 True Street Index class since I only had E85 and wasn't able to run 11.00. Broke out by 3 thousand's or something close to that so missed winning my class, so hopefully back in the winning circle this year.

Not much, little quicker shift and mainly Phil was tuning the torque management to eliminate the pulling of timing on the launch. It's very hot now in Missouri and just went my blower back to SCOL to get it freshened up, had a bearing noise so won't really work on the tune much till early fall when we see a decrease in the temp. We think the blower making noise could have some to do with the false knock we were having also, plus I've had a spark plug wire that has been loose for a long time and didn't know it till it fell off at the Nmca and set off a misfire. Put it back on and it was all good with no knock at all, still want to make sure neither are affecting the false knock.
