Sad to hear Bandimere Raceway is closing
I've never gottent to race there but I know some on this forum have and obviously its way up there at over 5000 ft and take some special tuning to race there. Nhra has been going there for many years and I'm sure all the Nhra races will miss this track. Here is more info about it.

It truly sad to lose Bandimere raceway, they all but put the spike in Wildhorse Dragstrip in Az. for about 10' of the Sandtrap so they can add more lanes on Rt10. Bandimere was one of a kind raced there after doing Vietnam. How we're losing a circle track up in Rockford Il. and know body can figure out about Rt 66 outside Chicago how long it will be around.

Island dragway in nj is another classic 60s style drag strip and go there as much as I can. I’d hate losing it as Englishtown just closed a couple years ago. It’s capable of record slips as well
There were mclarens and a c8z there last Friday night and doing a bunch of updates to the facility
