As yes, you should have seen my '63 Bonneville coupe in Marimba Red, deep burgandy metallic. That was one sweet ride. I see one from time to time at car shows and wonder how did I ever part that big boat. I have been lucky enough and worked hard enough to always have a nice ride. How I would love to have my '58 Impala convertable 348 w/three two barrels back. You know what that car is worth today?

I agree. Nightfall gray is my favorite too. It would be sharp with ceramic white or Kalahari interior and gray premium 20" rims

I must say... the Nightfall Gray is looking MUCH darker on the new customization official site than it ever has in person or in the original announcement shots. I wonder if they have listened to the comments on here about the desire for a darker more Ashen Metallic Gray look.

I really hope this is the case and isn't simply a rendering issue.

Having owned several dark gray, smoke, anthracite gray vehicles, I can tell you they have multiple personalities. Almost black at night, sparkly metallic gray in the sun and a darker shade on an overcast day.

If you like a little variety in expression even though you are buying only one color, this may be your choice.

it looks much darker on chevy's site because those aren't real pictures. they're basically photoshops.

I think lighting will make some people see different shades of grey on this car. Does anyone remember the Inferno Orange Metallic 5th gens looking red to some people? Some colors are just nuts like that.

grey allows the black accents to stand out nicely

Oh yes I agree, I love a good metallic gray. My fav car color. Really makes it feel like a machine to me. Darker gray is my preferred look.

Well yeah... of course they are photoshops... this is why I specifically stated 'I hope it isn't just a rendering issue'

The other cg renders initially released online have a lighter tone yet these don't and are significantly darker. I'm hoping it was a conscious choice by Chevy and not just random error making it look just a shade off black.

That is part of the reason I love grey. Allows for contrasty black accents.
