Back in 2014 nobody wanted to finance me a camaro because I had no credit score. As soon I had 10k to put down... They moved their ass and got my car the next day pretty much

And how much was it out the door if you don't mind me asking because I would rather have the two SS with the only option maybe being npp lost rather than get the 1SS I'm trying to figure it out between the two

Not to sound rude but an "extremely effective negotiator" compared to what? Did she get pre approved through her bank or a credit union first and this was the best rate she found? Did she pay MSRP on the car and that's why the dealer "ate" the negative equity? I ask because she may have qualified for .99% on her own had she checked. And the car may have been selling all day for invoice or below and she paid closer to MSRP. The dealer didn't take a loss. They may have taken a slightly smaller profit margin, but at the end of the day, she probably walked away with a deal she considered acceptable but left money on the table. And to be honest, that's the name of the game. Because the house always wins.

To the OP, bankrate.com will tell you what the best interest rates are in your area. Pick the bank with the lowest one and get a pre-approval. this is a starting point when you get to the dealer. If he can't beat it, you have your financing. If he can, then great. But not knowing your score before hand leaves you at the mercy of the finance guy and dealership. And many are unscrupulous.

And credit is a game of risk to lenders. More money down equals less risk to the bank.

Not a fan of that interior color. Reminds me of my mom's 1978 Mustang.

Car still looks sharp though.

I would shop interest rates before you go in. I don't know what part of Texas your in but there is an EECU credit union in the DFW area that is supposed to have great rates. I know I can get 2.9 at BOA. I'm checking with that credit union tomorrow. Yes they make money from interest rates.

After 28 years in the tire and wheel business I think your right. Probably has a couple more years. Fortunately if that's the case I can get them stripped down and powder coated any color I want for around 400.00

I have never driven a camaro before, let alone sit in one before today, so I don't really have much to compare it to but here are some pictures. The interior is much improved next to the 5th gen and it looks meaner and more refined in my opinion.

Did you look pretty closely at the paint? Does the car have less orange peel than the previous models?

Why did the mods merge a question about APR and financing with a thread about a car color? MODS, can you fix this?

Here is a 1LT I saw today at our dealer... MSRP was the Same as My 2010 1LT coupe, only difference in options I can see was mine had an Automatic and rally Stripes. This one had dealer installed Hash stripes and bowtie blackouts, I did not see them listed on the msrp sticker.

Thanks for the picture. I was very interested in seeing black hash mark on the NFG - I thought about doing this from the day I was ordering the car. It's not going on the car right away though. I want to see the car without it first and play with some ideas....

I have quite a few things already planned in my head - I just need to get my car.....

Planned small mods for my car: Front splitter, GlowTie, Black out Glowtie and rear bowtie, Window tint (35% front, 25% rear)
Next small mods to follow: Darkened tail light, Plasti-dip wheels to gunmetal (maybe...), Black hash mark (again, maybe...)

Come home, car!!!!!!

Wow that hash does not look good....if it was all black it would work. That white outline is killing me.
