changing radiator fans out this evening...any tips?

appears to be a pretty straightforward swap, 2 bolts, a connector, and then pull it out....any tips/tricks I should be aware of?

Well for anyone else who may have to do this...its real straightforward. A pain to wriggle it out with the intercooler piping, but a straight up in/out done in an hr and a half hood up to down, cold beverage included along the way.

I looked around for upgraded fans, but I really couldn't find anything that seemed totally guaranteed to fit onto a stock radiator. I was in a pinch bc my setup was running SUPER hot - turns out one fan was inoperable. My shop said that they typically don't see any cooling issues with the stock radiator setup, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on THIS set of fans. Managed to get it for 260 shipped overnight with the 20% off coupon they were running.

Busted a few knuckles on the install, but overall it was a pretty painless in/out. Temps with my current setup (built 416 w all the bolt-ons, f1a procharger, Fore level 2, DSX flex fuel sensor) haven't seen over 214* since install - that was sitting in heavy traffic at 95* outside temps with the AC blasting cool air. I don't do much any driving that is too strenuous on the cooling system outside of the typical daily city driving, so didn't really feel the desire to spend the coin on a serious upgrade to cooling if the factory system would handle it

if I were building a purpose-built track car, or autox car, then the situation might be different, as I believe they see pretty high temps when they're in the thick of it, but with my situation it's not really warranted.
