Need help on my next mod.

I know this has been asked before but been looking at 2 different Cat back system. Borla S-Type or Corsa? Now Corsa has 2 different ones about $300 difference. Can't find what the difference is. 14770 and 14772. Anyone know the difference,?

14770 is the louder of the 2 systems. It is the Xtreme+. Which is Xtreme mufflers with the Xpipe. The 14772 Is the Xtreme system which is the Sport mufflers and Xpipe.

Do you have any mods now?

Corsa will not drone. All others will produce some drone at certain rpms. Some people don’t want drone and some don’t mind it.

I just installed AWE Cat back with the performance link pipes. Excellent fitment. No drone. Sounds fantastic. And the larger tips look phenomenal! You do loose the valve though, which I never used anyway. Quite a bit cheaper too if I remember correctly.

One of the reasons I went this route was that with the Link Pipes, you didn't have to cut the original exhaust system. For me, this was important if I ever wanted to return the Z back to stock.

WTF you talking about the Borla does not drone! That's far from the truth as can be.. In fact its quieter and drone free than the oem system. Especially when just cruising on the highway with no throttle or light throttle where drone happens.

In fact the only system I heard drone in a while is the Stainless works complete system and that was an early kit.

I'll have to look into that one. I don't used the valves. Pulled the fuses. I wish Borla offered there system without NPP. But they don't.

Well if it’s true the Borla is quieter at cruising speeds than the OEM then I may as well swipe that system off my list. I want some more thump while cruising.

I have the Corsa Xtreme with the secondary cats deleted and absolutely love it. I get tons of comments on it.

Here are some quick drivebys
