Can't offer any input on the back seat....have no children and am 6'6, noway anyone is fitting behind me lol. I keep snow tires on my camaro for cold but dry non salty days and the car handles like normal. I daily drove it my first year of ownership and it did great in the snow as well (with snow tires obv). The fact that its a manual and there is "snow/ice mode" to limit throttle response helps a lot in this realm. I now have a 392 charger as well for the daily and absolutely love the car but doubt it will ever see a track. Like you mentioned it is so heavy and not composed compared to the 1LE it isn't even funny. I feel like driving it on a track after knowing what a 1LE feels like would be a chore and wouldn't even be fun. If you plan to track the camaro you are making an excellent decision.

Very similar experience here to Wyzz Kydd's, I'm 6'2" with three kids (13, 11 and 8 yo), and nobody complains when I have them all in the car, legroom is fine for them. Heck, they never even notice the lack of USB ports for the rear seat, they tend to enjoy the ride a lot.

Maybe my oldest would raise an eyebrow were she forced to sit behind me, but then why would she be when there are two other seat choices

The only thing to think about is ingress/egress, the Camaro obviously isn't comparable to a 4-door vehicle in this respect. My kids don't mind at all, it adds to the "race car" feel, but not everyone's alike.

With how I sit, it is impossible to fit anyone with legs in my car behind me. I can't imagine putting anyone back there. The back of my seat is literally touching the rear seat. Maybe a baby seat is fine, but with the Ricaro seats, its not that comfortable to get back there. The seat like doesn't fold forward enough cause of the large bolsters. People that say it's fine, just got used to dealing with it, but that doesn't make it fine or "no problem".

My 5 and 6 yr old love riding in the back of the camaro .. I’m 6’3” so I compromise my seating position a lot for the smaller one who sits behind me. I survive but am not interested in taking very long trips in it that way. The boys love riding in the car for the noises and the way I drive for them (safe, but fun).

If I were driving more than 30min with them in there on a routine basis I would either add another car with more space or go dual role like Charger, M3 or CTSV etc. I drive the car 45-60min a day to work one way right now and it’s great. I’m in Northern California though and so no snow and rarely rain. The stock F1s are not good in the little bit of rain I’ve driven in, you would want skinnier tires and a few more water channels for sure. With snow/ice mode I’m sure it’s fine on snow with snow tires but they would be a must.

I'm 5'10" and have two boys, 11 and 9. Both fit in the rear. I do have to adjust my seat a bit forward, but it's still comfortable for me. If you're using boosters, seat belt buckle extensions are a must.

I am 6 foot, there is absolutely no foot room for any sized rear seat passenger. I could fit an adult female in the back of my 4th gen. I don't think I could fit a five year old in the back of my 6th gen.

My sister (5'5") and wife (5'6") both can fit comfortably sitting one in front of the other. My dad (6'0") and wife also fit, but it was tight. I am 6'3" and nobody can sit behind me, because I need the front seat all the way back, touching the back seat.

I agree. I waited until my son was out of a car seat. If kids want to ride in my bad ass car they can sit in the back and love every minute of it. If the passenger seat is available, sure let them sit there, a special privilege I might add. The one seat they won’t get to enjoy is the drivers seat.
Insert evil cackle and exit stage left…
