eLSD Autocross Calibration

This may have been covered elsewhere, but I am unable to find information on the autocross electronic differential flash upgrade for the 2017-2019 ZL1 and ZL1 LE Camaros. I know this exists as I was told about the upgrade by the GM guys at the Cam East Challenge, but can not find info on this anywhere. I've been to three dealerships and they have not been helpful either. Look at me like I have three heads. Apparently they should concentrate on repairing SUVs and mini vans.
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Hadn't heard of an Autocross cal, where did you hear about it? I know they released a Drag Race cal and here is a thread on it.

I don't think that's ever been discussed on here. And a quick Google search shows that an SS 1LE gets the ZL1 eLSD configuration flashed into it.

Apparently the dealers looked at you that way because there isn't one for the ZL1s...... while they quietly repaired those SUVs and mini vans.....

I think the autocross calibration is for the ss 1le, the z gets a drag race calibration I think.

Alexander Doss, that is a GM engineer and drives on the GM autocross team, told me about this. It definitely exists, just don't know the part number.

The dealerships I went to had no idea what I was even explaining. Had nothing to do with what car or model. They really do need a separate division to deal with the fun cars. Your average service writer is to used to looking at rolling appliances all day.

Maybe you should get in touch with him. Seeing as everyone is connected on Social Media these days. As I stated, only thing I could find was for the SS 1LE. Nothing for the ZL1 except for the drag calibration.

I'll keep looking on Google though.....

Dealers do train certain techs on certain cars. Not every dealer is willing to spend money to train ever tech to work on "specialty" cars.

Not every person in a dealership will know what to look for when asked. I'm certain it's the same way in your job or any workplace. You can only hope someone will help you look for what you are asking. Hell, the person behind the parts counter might be more helpful than a tech or a service writer.

I had seen this post as well from last year, but spoke to the GM guys this summer and they said there was now a cal for the ZL1s also. I will keep digging.

If there is nothing has been said by GM to the customer base. As of now officially there is only:

SS 1LE - Autocross calibration update
ZL1 - Drag strip calibration update

Very interesting!!! Im subscribing to this as well. Something tells me the OP might be getting this confused with that SS 1LE upgrade.

But I'm going to be an optimist and keep my fingers crossed.
