?
MT reviewed the 2018 PP1 and found it to still be a mess on a road course. That was in 18! ...with all the updates and mag ride!

The standard SS Alpha chassis has been well sorted from the beginning and, unlike the PP2, it is fully track capable. It has all the coolers and Brembo brakes, with ducts, to run a full tank of fuel on a road course.

The PP1 isn’t on par with the SS in terms of capabilities. Even the PP2 lacks what every SS has standard.

What does putting street tires on a PP2 give you (non track car per Ford)? Certainly not a SS 1LE and still missing the standard performance equipment of a 1SS.

These are just two examples of Ford compromising and building the fail right into the model. Add 15-16 GT350 without coolers, $74k / 4,225 lb GT500, $94k CFTP, 15 GT...

Saying the PP1 is equal to the SS is fantasy.

The 1LE wheels compared to PP1? Let's not even go there, LOL.
To each his own. I'm not a big fan of plain 5 spoke wheels. They don't look bad but they don't do much for me. I do like the SS 1LE wheels; the Camaro SS and ZL1 wheels are definitely good looking as well - no complaints from me. That doesn't mean I don't also really like the GT PP1 wheels. Most of the dish happens in the first 5" (radius) or so from the center cap, then the outer half of the spokes are pretty flat. Nothing wrong with that IMO, they look great to me.

What I was implying was if you compare them based on the equipment they come with and the price IMO that's the way they would line up.

Did the orange GT350 get a lot of looks while you had it around town, or are they common in your area?

Oddly enough, I see more GT350 than I do PP1 or PP2, but most are either white (usually with blue stripes), black, or blue. Then there’s the occasional red with white stripes.

I got a lot of looks, but I think mainly because I kept playing with the exhaust. That never got old. I averaged 14.9 mpg when I had it. When I had the Bullitt, I kept it in 4th gear because I had to. When I had the GT350 I kept it in 4th gear because I loved the sound of it.

Reminds me of my 2007 CBR 600RR. Loved that bike, but had to keep it above 9000 to have any power.
