NITROUS

Have an ss 1le and thinking about going the nitrous route. 1le supposedly has the lt4 in-tank pump. Who is Running a nitrous set up and what kit are you running? Thinking about going nitrous express just not sure if there is anything else I would need that is not included in the kit. Aiming at around a 100 shot maybe 150 for seldom nights at the track. Car already has pray intake manifold/ throttle body, rotofab, primary cat delete and flex fuel. I’m sure I would have to go a step colder plug as well.

how well does the flex fuel gig play with nitrous? presuming a wet kit, the fuel jet will stay the same while the fuel supply will have a chance at changing.

guess i need to look into how the ecu compensates for ethanol content.

In the process of installing my nitrous outlet kit. I have the dedicated fuel system. Plan to run E85 in the stock tank and C116 in the fuel cell. Higher octane means less detonation so E85 would be safer than 93 octane. Make sure you run a window switch or progressive controller.
