Sorry, I was thinking about the yellow show car

GM calls it 'high wing' even though it's lower than the stanchion spoiler on the SS, and it did have a prototype intake with an open-toppped airbox like the 5th gen Z/28

I've never seen this one! That looks great!
And EvilBee was right about this one not having the high wing

They are the same car, I had the wing and colors changed to my preference.

Any owners of a turbo 1LE want to give their opinions on the car so far?

I saw one Turbo 1LE on the Nationals (autocross) list for DS, looks like it maybe a GM engineer. Is anyone running one in DS?

How does it do? Does the 1LE help with auto-x much?

It might help. It’s a tad heavier but has wider rear wheels and better suspension. That’s only if it stays in DS.

Arent the fronts wider also? LT is 7.5" wide front/rear, 1LE is 8" front and 9" rear, right? It does force you to run a 19" wheel, since you can't get down to a 18".

And I assume the spring rates are a good bit firmer with matching shocks compared to the LT? And does the LT have the same "Mechanical limited-slip differential with 3.27 ratio"? Maybe these are all hindrances.

Is there a chatter of the 2.0T 1LE being moved out of DS? Or all Camaros?

My 1LT is 8.5” all around.

I just saw that, looks like it was a 2019 update.

Mark Skroggs was running a 275/35?R18 on his DS car with 7.5" wheels, probably could go to a 285/35R19. Probably all depends what the hot tire is next year. Does the Yok become the new standard, or is the RE-71R still the pick.

If i remember right, the 1LE is 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I thought MS was on 8.5 inch wheels with 265s? 285 is pretty big for a 7.5.

Mark had a set of 19" with 265s but looks like he mostly ran the 18" in 275/35R18, all on the 8.5" wide wheel. SO having to run 19" but 1" extra rim only in the rear doesn't seem like much of an advantage.
