This happens every time I wash my car, get it completely dry. Drive it next day and this happens.

The first time I couldn't tell where it was coming from. I thought I dried the car fairly well since I took a leaf blower and blew it dry.
Just seemed like a lot of water and being the day after, it should have evaporated. We'll see on the next go round.

I haven't had my 6th gen long enough to wash it yet.....but had a similar issue with my 5th. I would just leave the trunk open while I worked on the rest of the car - that allowed water under the spoiler to drain out.

It happens if you don't blow the water completely out.

Use a leaf blower or a DataVac (I'm using) to dry it before you drive.

Happens to me as well, every time. I'll wash mine in the evening and I'll try to dry the trunk area as best i can with a chamois. But every time the next day, the car cries from the tail lights during the first drive.

Try the scarf technique. Loosely wrap a chamois around each post after you finish washing. It should hopefully absorb any weeping water overnight.

I also have the same problem with my side mirrors and door handles. Wrapping the mirrors is pretty easy, but stuffing the door handles is a bit tricky.

Have had my car now 2 months and 4 days. Have washed it every week and not once have I had any residual weeping. Not sure how you dry your car, I use a Absorber High Performance Drying Towel. Damn thing is amazing.

It has been very hot in Canada, and this just appeared today. Again, this is after 1 week. Is water sitting somewhere inside (maybe where the spoiler mounts to the trunk)? Besides how it looks, this can't be good for the car if it is holding water in after 1 week, and temps that should have caused any water to evaporate. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
Yes, water leaks from my Spoiler too, not as bad as yours. No big deal. Aggravating...yes. Life could be worse...no lost sleep.

I recently noticed the same thing happening to my car. I concerns me because I leaks out almost a week later. This sounds like rust waiting to happen. Have you found a solution? I'm considering replacing my spoiler gaskets to see if that helps

That's the spoiler I want to change to, but now I don't know about it after seeing that. I do dry my car after every wash with a chamois.
