In other news, I have joined an addiction group to help me with my Camaro withdrawls. Haven't driven her since Feb. Why do we do this to ourselves..

Stay tuned yall

We're gonna keep the stock cubes. I don't need any more low end torque. The car made 657 to the wheels before we did the heads, cam and fuel system upgrades. I'm excited to see how it does with the 377 cubes. JDP did a 416 car with nearly the exact same mods a while back so it should be cool to see just how different the numbers come out. We think it might be higher with the stock cubes because the added 416 requires more boost to fill the cylinders. We just wanted my car to make more power up top, mostly. I'll be sure to report back asap. It will be a while yet though

Hard to tell but it actually looks like it was a rod failure. The ring lands on the pistons didn't really show any signs of detonation or anything. The pistons remained largely intact thanks to the rings holding it together. The pistons then acted as a barrier and kept the debris from destroying my new heads and potentially, the blower. So if there was any positive news about the failure, it was that.
