Throttle Body Help

So I was getting the P2135 code, car would go into reduced engine power mode. Occasionally I was getting a PO121 code as well. I couldn't find a direct answer on what it could be so I started with the throttle body. Car runs fine but when I am driving when I go to shift the car still revs up as if I am still pushing the accelerator and then the car wants to stay at 2RPM until I come to a complete stop when in neutral or if a I am in gear it jumps to 1RPM. Has anyone else had this issue when they replaced the throttle body?
My next step was going to be looking at replacing the accelerator pedal position sensor, but if anyone has any ideas that would be super helpful! Thanks.
