Sooo true... I first looked at the time and said no way. Pretty sure I've been through the entire thing twice now.

I've watched it several times and still pick up new things about the car.

I was leaning towards a 1SS 1LE but now I'm leaning towards a ZL1 because of this video.

Lol it sounds like GM should be giving savage geese some commission!

That's the beauty of Savagegeese; They are not biased/influenced. They don't get the favors and kickbacks from manufacturers that the major automotive publications do.

FWIW great vid, I was watching it weekly in the considerable gap between my build and delivery. Kept me sane and stoked.

OP... Yup, car porn.

Even though I ended up with a SS 1LE instead of the ZL1 1LE, I watched this video at least 5 times when I still had my M3 waiting for the lease to end.

I love this guy's stuff. Pretty in depth, unbiased, not annoying. He could have done another 30 mins with it and it still would have been enjoyable to watch.

Exactly. He doesn't even like Chevy and takes regular jabs at GM in other segments, along with his mechanic friends.

This is what I call true, quality, independent, unbiased (video) journalism. Hope he stays this way.

Now that is a great review. His choice at the end — honest...

The ZL1 1LE would be the only 6th gen I’d want to buy — and he is right, 0 marketing from GM.

This is the video that convinced me to purchase (still waiting after almost a year) the 1LE. Well that and Ford was asking over striker for the 350R.

In another video, him and the mechanics are talking about good car companies, and ones to stay away from. GM was rather prominent on the Do Not Buy list. But not the Camao.....

Castle Chevy had 5 or 6 of them sitting outside dirty as can be.
I don't think it would be a problem to get a test drive

(your location said Chicago burbs - just assuming you are still in the area)
