Trying to add drl (fog lights)

Hi, I recently grabbed a 2017 Chevy Camaro 2lt 1le V6. I love the look of it. But it did not come with the vertical led daytime running light (fog lights) like a lot of the other trims have.

My question is, is it possible to add these lights to my car? If so, would anyone be able to assist in pointing me in the right direction on where I can get them and maybe a good d.i.y vid or thread.

Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.

My guess is that the wiring harness will have to be swapped for one that accepts the DRL. If you look at the illuminated bowtie install thread, it shows 2 different scenarios for non DRL and DRL cars. then seems like the cutout for the DRL is the same, so you just have to replace your non DRL piece for the DRL ones and you should be good to go.

Check with gen5 DIY pretty sure they can make that harness for you!

I talked to Gen5, it's costly. I have a V6 1le LS model and it was around a grand, plus you lose the vents.

The DRL are different for each of the trim levels. I would think it would require a change over to the SS front fascia in order for it to work.

I think the DRL really had to the look of the car at night. Especially with the LED inside the headlights. The Camaro RS front end is just pure sexiness.

So for a grant, expensive, but worth it I guess haha
