I'm keeping it mainly stock except for some very close to OEM modifications that I have in mind.

I wouldn't do anything that doesn't look like it came from GM as I don't want to over do it.

But yeah, I bought the car because I like it how it is. So not so much modifications for me.

I'm planning on staying stock. Sometimes plans change. We'll see.
I've left my last 5 motorcycles stock (performance-wise) and have had no regrets.

I bought the vehicle that had the power, ride and optioned the way I wanted.
For me, no mods. Kept my GT500 completely stock. To me , they are only original once. Not everyone's idea, but it is mine.

I plan to keep it stock. Some cars have aspects from the factory that can be easily improved upon. I don't think this car has big flaws. I would prefer if it was smaller, but we can't change that. The stock runflat tires with the 20" stock wheels are a bit unnecessarily heavy, 18"s and smaller overall diameter would have made more sense.

The base LS/LT cars would be improved with the 1LE suspension. Alternatively, the GMPP lowering kit with smaller overall diameter tires might be be interesting. Maybe a tune on the 2L cars, although it seems to give mostly torque, less so top end power. I'm not sure if that would be better, or if it would give it a unsporting, peaky mid-range power band like the ecoboost mustang.

I haven't driven the convertible, but some reviews have suggested the body flexes. I might consider a strut tower brace, etc. for a convertible.

So far mine is mostly stock except for the mods in my signature. Plan on keeping her that way as of now! My SS had the exact options I was wanting in a ‘16 when I bought it.

The only thing I didn't like on my car was the sound of the exhaust. I replaced the suitcase muffler with a pair from Magnaflow. It is a little louder than i really wanted but the tone is amazing. Other than a few cosmetic changes my car will remain stock at least until the warranty runs out.
