Got it to work on the bench now to get the home link to add at the same time, going on car car after the new wing is panted, looking forward think the mirror on the new 19 1500 trucks will work for the window mount units for older cars, have to add on-star in the over head console.

So took some pics so you can see how it works.

first let me tell you how much i like this mirror, all though will need to find a work around for on-star, with that said its nice, let me tell you how it works.

you have a button on the right side all the way to the left, that turns the page and there are 3 pages, push ones for you bright settings, the use the far 2 buttons to go up or down, same for the other 2 pages, and they are zoom and moving the pic up or down some, here are some pics of it working on the bench.

Too bad GM didn't incorporate the camera into the roof antenna. Presumably would have made for an easier retrofit, and the view would have been amazing!

In any case, I'm quite curious to see how this turns out!

The camera that is used is new, this is how, only wire used its the coaxial Cable, no red and black wire, power is sent over the coaxial cable, so it's data over power cable, nice.

Here is what i am now doing, instead of running the wing spoiler, am going to keep my 3 pc that came with the car, (think it looks better on the 1LE, that and all the holes that are needed to fill its not worth the headache that it will take to do) got the spoiler off the car and went ahead and cut it from the under side ti see if the GM camera will fit, it does fit, will have some more pics soon.
