Aftermarket Spoiler

hey any fellow convertible owners here install a aftermarket spoiler? I ask due to the antenna being in the spoiler itself.

I was originally planning to do this, and just sacrifice my AM/FM reception, but have since decided that I'm OK with the factory spoiler. I don't love it, but I also don't hate it enough to mess with it. Aftermarket would be the only option though unless you want to fill and paint the center stanchion hole in the trunk lid. The other OEM spoiler options will leave that center hole exposed.

I still wonder how and where they implanted that am/fm antenna in the spoiler and if its just a wire type that can just be replaced if need be....

Sorry to bring back a old thread, but ACS has a deck spoiler for convertibles now. It has a extra hole to feed the antenna through.

We have done this with the GM Blade spoiler, there are actually 2 metal antenna rods located inside the underside of the factory "SS" style spoiler, we relocated them and installed them inside the trunk deck lid itself without any issues whatsoever.
