Oil leak

It looks like my timing cover is leaking on both sides, pretty high up. Is this common? I am sure it will not be covered under warranty yet due to it not pouring, but its pretty unsightly. I cleaned with brake spray this morning to check its rate.

Mine does the same thing it's covered under powertrain. There's been a few cases of crap gasket seals.

I do have the mishimoto catch cans on it, i normally do not care about parts being on when i got for warranty work but i do know bad pcv system can cause leaks, and was partially worried about them denying any kind of oil leak for that reason. If they did fix yours, and mine comes back pretty quick I may swap the catch cans off and take it in for it.

I had the catch cans on it when warranty work was done. It's oil seep nothing the catch cans do can cause the seals along the outside of your timing cover to leak. I notice it more during the winter i'm assuming because of the water condensation.

Good info here. Is it possible to show a picture of the leak? I'd like to check mine in case it has the same issue.

I am not too mechanically inclined so picture would help haha
