Instructor/Student Communicators for HPDE
I am currently using a Chatterbox Tandem Pro 2. It's cheap and effective, but would like something that allows individual instructor and student volume control. It also has a built-in rechargeable battery for portability. I use the full-face headset CBR-CBDUOUHS and have the single speaker/boom mic for the student CBR-TP2SRHS. The build quality reflects the price as I have gone through a couple headsets.
Found a thread on Rennlist, about the Rosso IC-200. https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...-for-de-2.html Ryephile, since you're an audio guy, what are you using? What are you guys using? |

I use a chatterbox too, I used to have the same full face setup with my Bell Helmet. I didn’t like it that much, I always felt like I needed the volume louder than my student wanted. I purchased a Roux helmet over the winter with built in electronics. The noise canceling function of the Roux earmuffs are amazing. Now I have no complaints, I can have the volume as quiet as my students like and I hear them perfectly. Sorry, I realize my response doesn’t answer your question, I can’t recommend a wired helmet enough though.
