The fuel system will support more on higher octane gasoline.

We are currently up against the octane wall at 700 rwhp.

We made 726 on E-85 but fuel pressure is dropping so I will not deliver the car like that.

More testing to come.

Ted.

Nice Ted. One thing you did with the LSA was a max no tune set up.
Looking forward to that with the LT4. I am planning on a 18 ZL1

Given my experience with the LT4 Vettes and CTSV we have done it is unlikely it will happen without tuning.

These computers are Torque based and if you make more than it is suppose to the throttle closes down to control torque back to stock.

Yes sir, when done properly we can do a lot on stock parts, but only up to what the octane will allow.

Octane is always the limiter of power.

Ted, are when you are changing pulleys are you also changing the belts since you go to a 90 or maybe 85 mm pulley. Are you sourcing belts if needed or getting them from Magnuson?

Yes we sell pulleys and belts together we have a source for them locally.

Question.. Ted,

The results are on Rough idle cam w fuel pump lobe change, 1 7/8 headers no cats, Lt4 hi side pump, LT4 low side or pick up pump, LT4 injectors, and a smaller pulley 80mm..

1. 93 THIS IS 700 RWHP on Stock Compression of 11.5:1 and no meth?

2. E85 only yielded 26 more HP?

3. Could the setup be done with a cam that was smooth as stock or stock LT4 cam with just modifications to the fuel lobe?

I'm kinda getting tired of my cammed cars..

Thanks..

With cats.

Yes no meth but 80 MM pulley.

With E-85 we ran out of fuel, so I never finished dialing in the needed timing.

I went back to the 85 mm pulley 2 less PSI and made 725 674 on E-85.

I have a smooth Idle version that will do very well in this combo.

No the fuel system will have to be upgraded as per this project.

Ted.
