It reminds me more of a zl1 also. I do agree that some photos make the SS look unappealing at certain angles, however, I believe it's going to look really sharp in person. I prefer this look but I would never talk down the previous versions. We all have our own tastes, differently varying from person to person, and this version satisfies my palate nicely. I've been waiting 10 years for this one.

To be fair, I also like the hood on the 19+ cars. I liken it to the 14-15 refresh hood and of course, the C7 hood as well. If it flows with the lines of the 16-18 well enough, I may replace my stock hood with that one.

Glad I have a 17 (or 18)...not a fan - maybe it will grow on me. Not big on the rear lights, either.

Now why would they mess up something that was already perfect. The 1LE front end looks mean as hell. Why change it ? Now the tail lights I think are sweet. About the only thing I like about the refresh

I saw a wrecked Charger this week that I genuinely thought was the 2019 from a distance. Should've taken a pic.

Wonder if they left the shipping spacers in. Front end looks like it's sitting high.

I love when people come in and complain as if we haven't heard them do it 300 times already in different threads...

First thing that came to my mind too.

As far as the refresh, I like the hood. Unfortunately the flowtie placement hurts the overall appearance.

I like the flow-tie and it's functional. Yoda's voice, "The hate is strong with this one."
I'm hoping the functional cosmetic changes improve the car's performance significantly. Chevy puts a lot of R&D into their aero technology so I'm hoping Randy Pobst is able to best his previous lap time over the current 1LE; once again showing that the 1LE punches well above its weight class. I find it odd that Chevy hasn't shown any manufacturer pictures of the 1LE at this point. I wonder if they have more to say/reveal for this model.

Highly unlikely less than two weeks before production of the ‘19s begins.

Functional on the ZL1 where air flow is needed for the 11 radiators/coolers and 650hp engine consuming almost 50% more air than a SS, lessons learned from early Z06 overheating.
I'm hoping the functional cosmetic changes improve the car's performance significantly.
Cosmetic changes add no performance, and according to the EPA ratings, hurt mpg. Chevy puts a lot of R&D into their aero technology so I'm hoping Randy Pobst is able to best his previous lap time over the current 1LE; once again showing that the 1LE punches well above its weight class.
True, the 1LE punches above it's weight class, and no matter the look it will perform well, but a black front bumper and body color cheek flaps aren't going to best any lap time. I find it odd that Chevy hasn't shown any manufacturer pictures of the 1LE at this point. I wonder if they have more to say/reveal for this model.
The 1LE is a small production option package, not an actual model like the RS, SS, or ZL1, no one outside the Camaro really knows what it is, so no point in expending the energy.

Chevy released the SS 1LE pictures shortly after they revealed the 2016. I was hoping they would do the same with the 2019. It seems as if Chevy is more focused on marketing the new four-banger 1LE than the SS model. All in all I wish Chevy would release some more pix of the SS 1LE.
