People are going to buy it. Lets welcome them.

Look, Regardless of what we think about the new model people are going to buy it. They are also going to look for a community, and once they do, we already know how we feel about the 6.5 changes. Lets just welcome them like we got welcomed in. Alot of people didnt like me when I was the second 6th gen Camaro out on the streets. They are coming whether you like it or not.

I for one welcome the folks that enjoy the new style. I may not think its the best but you do, and that's what matters. Please enjoy your stay and enjoy the community. (sorry for the assholes).

I agree. They already put themselves through enough, no reason for us to make it any harder on them.

I agree, no need to bag on a car they're going to be excited to have, just not my cup of tea!

I do plan on seeing it in person and seeing what the after market community comes up with.

Agree.
I usually don't state my opinion unless someone asks for it. Even then I'm cautious.

Fully agree.
We are so used to looking at our cars every day, that a minor refresh looks so DIFFERENT.
To everyone else without a Camaro, it's just a Camaro.
That's what it is now. No different than back in the 70's as they shifted through several different iterations on the 2nd gen between 70 and 74.
In 30 years people will look back and have their favorites.
The 6th gen is such a great car, and I think seeing a new refresh makes everybody appreciate their own car that much more. Not because the new one is worse, but because now the 2016-2018 model years are encapsulated in time. They have become history. Very recent history, but history none-the-less. Celebrate it and welcome the new people in. We're talking about Camaros here!

Agree,

I did not like Gen 6 when it came, but now I'm in love.
Gen 6.5 may be nice in a while

They wanted to attract the female population so they softened up the looks took all the aggression out of it made it a 'CHIC' car. That is what the 80's version of the car was considered.....

Weird. Everyone I have shown the car to thinks it looks more aggressive.

Well said. I am amazed how many negative opinions I’ve read on the redesign. At the end of the day if you don’t like it don’t buy one. I wouldn’t buy a 3rd gen or a tricked out civic but I appreciate all car guys/gals that keep the hobby alive and are passionate about their cars no matter what they drive. (Yes, even mustangs)

I won't hold my opinion that it's hideous and that 16-18 is superior but I won't bash on people for buying it since ya know, if they want a camaro they have no choice but to deal with what GM has put out. A duck is always gonna be a duck for me though. I mean we accept third gen owners dont we lol?

Third Gen looks a thousand time better than the fourth gen. They were so ugly that GM had to kill them all together. If the LS motor hadnt been put in them they would have never lasted as long as they did.

Of course we should welcome them. After all, they're not buying Mustangs. LOL!
