PLX DM-6 Wideband, I should have known better

Finally put some gauges in the car an Aeroforce and PLX Afr in a center speaker pod.

I didnt like the look of the AEM or others and this one looked expandable.

What I got was a gauge that looks good when it initializes but only initializes 1 out of 3 times.

Tech support is only by email and there is no number to call unless they call you

4 rounds of tech troubleshooting and the fianlly are inclined to replace than quiet, no rma no call, no we ll ship then you ship yours back. I think they want me to rip mine out, ship and they analyze, WTH

Thanks for the heads up. I try to buy stuff like that from Summit or the like just for that reason.

I may get one from amazon, they stand by the product, or look for a different vendor if this isnt fixed soon. Jegs carries this but 100$ more than buying direct

Except aeroforce has a known voltage drop when external datalogging, so the gauge has to be disconnected when a laptop is hooked up. Also its much to busy for an afr reading.

Still looking, if they dont send a new unit then I will use the innovate dlg-1 dual wideband

Zietronix... only way to go. I have the hacker mod in mine and that is the hands down best AFR gauge I have seen or used.

What a POS company. Rather than send out a new gauge and or a sensor box with my credit card on file they want me to rip everything back out and send it back for "analysis and repairs". I know I have gotten used to Amazon service but come on the power wires and sensor test good, send me some active components. Since its intermittent I can already see the report "no problem found"

What a joke
